Canine Good Citizen Classes.
September 12th, 2015 Josephine County Fairgrounds
Dogs of all sizes and shapes took part in the Canine Good Citizen test. Those being tested demonstrated they could behave in public by performing such tasks as allowing themselves to be greeted by a stranger, be brushed by a groomer, walk on a loose lead, stay when left and come on command, behave around another dog and in a crowd situation, remain calm around noisy distractions and remain calm while being held on lead while the owner was out of sight. Pictured below are some of the new CGC Certificate holders – as well as a few member dogs hanging out before they helped by being “distraction” dogs.
