Purpose: Each year the Budget committee sets the budget for the upcoming year.

Timeline: The Budget should be completed as soon as possible after the Audit has been completed. The Budget should be submitted by the March Board meeting or by the end of April at the latest.

The committee:

  • Established: Committee should be established by the new Board immediately after the December election.

  • Members: Committee should have 2 – 3 members and the Treasurer.

  • Previous year’s budget: Committee will work off of a copy of the previous year’s budget, comparing the actual expenditures to the budgeted expenses.

  • Approval: Proposed budget should be presented to the Board for review, discussion, and approval at the February Board meeting.
